Phase diagrams for binary systems

On these pages, phase diagrams for several binary systems are described. The phase diagrams were calculated with the Extended UNIQUAC thermodynamic model. The model only uses binary parameters. The same parameters used for calculating the binary phase diagrams are also used for calculating the phase behavior and other properties of the corresponding ions in multi-component solutions. This model therefore can be used for simulating fractional crystallization processes, where pure salts are produced from multi-component mixtures.
